Well hello there ladies! How are we all doing this fine Wednesday? I hope we are all well.

This week I was torn between 2 pieces. My other option was a bird print dress with a simple black peter pan collar. However I felt this piece had more detail in the collar. I'm sure that dress will make an appearance at some point.

Collars aren't something I wear a lot of, other than the odd shirt, but they made a big appearance in fashion in the last few years with statement collars, peter pan collars as well as collar necklaces.

This top is a sheer shell nude colour. It's very sheer so needs a vest top underneath and it's also very flowy so it needs to be sinched in with a belt to give it some shape. It's very flattering and easy to wear. It's great for work, out for dinner or for drinks, or any smart casual occasion. It goes with everything and can be dressed up or down. It's a top pretty and the lace white collar gives some extra detail to an otherwise simple top. You can't go wrong with a bit of feminine lace and the shape of the collar is really pretty and feminine too.  As it's sleeveless and very chilly rainy here, I put the top with a black shrug. I also wore black skinny jeans. I think the nude shell colour looks really good against the black. I also paired it with black suede ballet flats with a nude sequin bow detail and a simple black quilted clutch (not shown in photos).
